Hard to believe

I thought Andhra Pradesh was doing very well under the stewartship of N. Chandrababu Naidu. I was completely surprised to read the news about TDP's overwhelming loss in the elections to Congress and its allies. If you are equally surprised read more analysis at Shanti's and JK's blog. I hope this is not the first act that will be followed by similar horrific results in the National elections.

seems like thts wht thts going to happen.. india shining campaign did really undo everything.. looks like mulla mulayam is going to b the next prime minister.. he is one the front runners if congress and its alliance wins the majority.. becoz bjp doesn't seem like gonna win a lot of seats.. it seems they can barely make it from teh exit polls..

I am shocked that people are surprised about Naidu's disastrous fall. Other than getting top-notch IT companies in AP, he really did not do much. AP is one of the most agriculturally dependent state and most of its crops are the basic sustenance crops like rice. The farmers and poor of the state were completely neglected. A laptop presentation to Bill Gates does not give them food shelter and clothing.
