iShares Cohen & Steers Realty Majors

For diversification in real estate other than the house that we live in, I started periodic investment in an ETF (Exchange-traded Fund), iShares Cohen & Steers Realty Majors (ICF). This was one of the real estate funds recommended by Kiplinger's magazine.

also check out CSRSX

an almost identical performance to the ICF ... has been doing great even when the regular indices have been hammered .... i suppose the dream run will slow down as interest rates rise ...

ICF is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the Cohen and Steers portfolio. CSRSX is a mutual fund and is not available from the broker that I use (www.sharebuilder.com). Also ETFs are better in terms of tax and capital gains consequences than mutual funds. Those things matter, if this investment is outside of your retirement account, like mine.
