Don't expect me to cry...

Have been listening to "Nirvana: MTV unplugged in New York".

This song "Jesus don't want me for a sunbeam" is just stuck in my head. Must have listened to it at least 10 times.

Click below to see the lyrics...

Jesus, don't want me for a sunbeam
Sunbeams are never made like me

Don't expect me to cry,
For all the reasons you had to die
Don't ever ask your love of me

Don't expect me to cry
Don't expect me to lie
Don't expect me to die for me

Jesus, don't want me for a sunbeam
Sunbeams are never made like me

Don't expect me to cry,
For all the reasons you had to die
Don't ever ask your love of me

(x2)
Don't expect me to cry
Don't expect me to lie
Don't expect me to die for me

Jesus, don't want me for a sunbeam
Sunbeams are never made like me
Don't expect me to cry,
For all the reasons you had to die
Don't ever ask your love of me

Don't expect me to cry
Don't expect me to lie
Don't expect me to die
Don't expect me to cry
Don't expect me to lie
Don't expect me to die for me

This song was inspired from a Mormon song: Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

that is one superb album ... all songs are good (even those i didnt like originally, i like them in their unplugged version)

in general, when hard and heavy metal, rock, grunge bands slow down their pace and get slightly 'mellow' (read 'melodious', softer guitar solos, lots of keyboards, or sometimes just plain ol acoustic versions are enough!), they seem to produce superb music. the examples are innumerable - metallica's nothing else matters and unforgiven, GNR's patience and yesterday, ozzy's 'so tired', 'goodbye to romance' and 'mama im coming home' to name a few. metallica's S&M albums are cool because of the heavy orchestral sounds. nirvana's unplugged is definitely another one on this list!

nothin beats good fast paced rock or metal but its nicer to hear these same groups slow down!
[i just read this comment again, talkabout being verbose!!]
