Two weeks after GM diet

October 31st, 2006

It has been two weeks since we did the GM diet. I lost 7 pounds during those 7 days of GM diet. Even after returning to my gluttonous lifestyle for two weeks, those 7 pounds haven’t come back. Excellent, eh!? Should do this week-long diet again sometime in the next few months.

    Dear Thomas,
i did this diet a week ago, and it works…
The best thing it got me was a healthy clean detoxed system.

I read in a post in this blog that if you do not drink water you do not lose much and i noticed that during my diet so i drank a lot of water.. and it helped.

And after the diet do not get back to ur old habits all at once to ruin the whole 7 day thingy u wen thru..

Best of luck and avoid cheeting a lil bit here and there is ok..

I started yesterday and all went fine, but today after the potato for breakfast I was really tempted by my toddler’s birthday cake! I had a slice… I won’t start over, I think I’ll keep going and see what happens… It’s wonderful to see so many GM diet supporters at last!

    Guys, help me out here..
On day 4, do we have to finish 8 bananas, compulsory? I like bananas and I probably can have 8 in a day, but I am wondering if I eat less would it help in the weight reduction process or should I go for consuming all 8. I am not feeling all that hungry either.
I actually gained 1 lb on Day 3 :-( So, I am very nervous and want to follow this diet correctly.
    Any help will be appreciated!

RP, they say on the diet page that you don’t have to consume all the bananas. Good luck!

It’s my first day on the diet but I’m not sure if I should be working out or just let the cleansing and weight loss happen on its own? Will I even have enough energy to work out?

I am now on my day 2 of the GM diet….I accidently had veges and frutis today….got the days mixed up…,but otherwise ok…feeling hungry alot…but i have lost appetite…just have the hunger pangs which goes off if you ignore it. And I actually didn’t participate in party at work today…stated at the chocolate and fruit cakes and looked the other way…so pleased with myself.

Hi today is my fifth day on GM diet. I went on this diet mainly to get some discipline in my schedule. I should say first 2 days were really tough. At time I just wanted to give up the diet and go on the ‘long term healthy’ lifestyle. Somehow I stuck to my plan and I am very happy that i did it. I have lost 3kgs till now but more than the weight loss i am excited that I actually stuck to it.

Does anyone know of maintenance program in GM diet. I don’t want to gain back the weight once i start eating ….HELP!!

i too want to know about maintenance post these 7 days. so anybody who’s successfully kept all the lost weight away till long after the diet, please share the knowledge! :)

also, anyone on day 2? we could motivate each other! i hear its tough to go on till day 3 after which you get used to the regime..

I did the diet last week… lost 2 kilos only.. but on the veggie day i had a lil tuna with the veggies.. dunno if thats the reason i lost only 2 kilos.. is there anybody who had non veg along with the veggies on day 2??? hunger pangs were not high. but head ache was intolerable.. am starting the diet again today.. lets see how it goes.. today am on day one .. all fruits so not much of an issue..
