GM diet forum

December 8th, 2006

Don’t know how it happened, but my post about details of GM diet has turned into a forum to discuss the diet. If you search Google for GM diet, my post is ranked fourth.

GM diet mania sweeps through the Indian subcontinent and Indian diaspora around the world.

This post is a shameless effort to increase the rank of my GM diet post.

I did GM diet twice. The 1st time lost 2 1/2 kg. Gave a gap of 2 days and did it again. Gave up on the 5th day becoz had lost only 1 kg. Then i gained back 1 kg so lost 2 1/2 kg after 12 days of dieting.also substituted chicken with beef – wonder if that was right. Going to give it another go. Feel very good after the diet after the healthy eating.

Hi everyone! I just joined. I’ve known about the diet for the last one year. Have been looking at it on and off. But could not make up my mind to start on it. However, I have started now. Today is my first day. Wish me luck :)

Husband on diet. Hates tomatos. Any ideas on substitute for tomato and beef day?
(Canned cooked tomato’s may be tolerable but raw, out of the question, he will gag).

    Thanks

    HI,
I am on the 4. day of the GM diet and I feel great!
I lost 2.7 kg (around 6 lbs)already. According to the diet the real weight loss has not started yet!
I am sticking strictly to the diet plan cause I believe otherwise it does not work because it is the combination of the mentioned things which make you clean your body and burn the calories. Today 8 bananas and 3 glasses of milk, alot of water and the soup.
Looking forward to it and will keep updating.
    I feel cleaner and healthier.

    Hi all,
I am on day six of the GM beef variant diet and I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 4 kgs. This diet is one that really works, I have recommended it to my friends and they love it too. I did not exercise at all because I simply don’t have the energy but still lose weight. But then again I don’t have to run after and take careof any children, just my hubby and he is so supportive and keeps me on track, he even won’t let me cook his food in case it tempts me, I was thinking of going on the atkins diet straight away but am not sure about that anymore, I don’t kowif the weightloss will be as effective like on the GM diet.

I LOVE the GM diet :-) It’s also called the Cabbage Soup diet.

On the first three days, i easily lose 3-4 lbs. But after the meat days, it all stops. Does anyone have any idea why? Any suggestions?

I am doing it again now. I’m on day 3- veg & fruit. Aside from dieting I am also doing birkram yoga everyday. So far, I’ve been felling okay throughout the session.

I don’t recommend people to take this diet on a regular basis. Once a month or every 2 weeks is fine. :-) Enjoy the weight loss!
