Moon
On Friday night, the Moon was at its closest to Earth. When it is full Moon at this position is Moon’s orbit (perigee), it appears the biggest and brightest. It was about 16% bigger and 30% brighter than other full moon’s of the year. These photos were captured a day late when the Moon was about 93% full.

Back in April of this year, I made a post about my sharebuilder portfolio, talking about dollar-cost averaging over time. The stock market has been on a downward trend most of this year and this portfolio has gone from being up 25% in April to down by almost 21% now. I am still continuing with my plan to buy more stocks. I am hoping to pick up quite a few bargains before the equities start going up again. Right now, instead of adding to individual stocks, I am buying ETFs to cover a bigger chunk of the market.

Moon, Venus (almost touching the treetops) and Jupiter. Also a couple of airplanes are seen next to the planets.
