“, liked it very much and recommended it to me. I wanted to get the audiobook as it is easier for me to listen than read. The best source for audiobooks is of course audible.com but, depending on how you choose to buy the book, the price you pay is quite different.
The best price is available for monthly subscribers with audible.com ($14.95 and up) or those who want to start a subscription (First 3 months for half price: $7.49). If you want to buy without getting into monthly subscription, the price of the book is $27.97.
Audible.com audiobooks are available through iTunes store and price for the same unabridged book is $23.95.
In the recent past, Amazon.com bought Audible.com and the same audiobook is available for $19.40 if purchased through Amazon.com website. This accounts for 25% discount on audible.com products for amazon.com customers.
Trying to find the best price for any book to read (listen) can be as interesting as the book.

Took these photos sometime in October. While processing them, noticed that the sequence of colors in the outer and inner rainbow is opposite of each other. Didn’t know that before I saw it today. Here is some explanation for this phenomenon found on the internet.
Sometimes we see two rainbows at once, what causes this? We have followed the path of a ray of sunlight as it enters and is reflected inside the raindrop. But not all of the energy of the ray escapes the raindrop after it is reflected once. A part of the ray is reflected again and travels along inside the drop to emerge from the drop. The rainbow we normally see is called the primary rainbow and is produced by one internal reflection; the secondary rainbow arises from two internal reflections and the rays exit the drop at an angle of 50 degrees° rather than the 42°degrees for the red primary bow. Blue light emerges at an even larger angle of 53 degrees°.

It is so funny to just listen in on Adit and Ashwini’s conversations in the car. Here is something from this morning.
Adit: I am going to grow up and be a football player.
Ashwini: I thought you were going to be a cook…
Adit: I am going to be a cook, too. And a football player.
Ashwini: OK. I get it. You can play football in the daytime, then come home and be a cook in the evening.
Adit: Yeah. That’s right.
Ashwini: Maybe, you can grow up, get married, play football, cook food for your wife.
Adit: I don’t want to get married.
Ashwini: But, you have to. When you grow up, you have to find a wife and get married. And then, you’ll have to take care of kids too along with playing football and cooking food.
Adit: OOOOKKK. I’ll get married. I’ll find a girl with a big belly and get married.
Ashwini: No, no, no. You get married to a regular girl. Then, she’ll get a big belly and make kids.
At this point, I just burst out in laughter and unfortunately, that made them stop this interesting dialog. Wish it had gone on longer.
Diwali and Halloween passed by without me posting any pictures. So, here are a couple to make up for the lapse.
