Upgraded the template to a simpler design based on a popular Hemingway theme. This is an older design and doesn’t use WordPress widgets. One problem I see immediately is increased spam. If it gets out of control, I’ll just switch back to the old design. Meanwhile, please provide some feedback about this design.

In the last 10 years, online shopping has become our main source of stuff. The only things we buy in store these days, are groceries. I am contemplating use of peapod.com for that as well. Haven’t done it yet, but maybe soon, we’ll switch to online groceries, too.

Mail now provides unlimited storage for no cost.

I only hope they continue to support the classic view and not upgrade everyone to the new version that looks like Outlook and Hotmail. I like Yahoo! Mail classic for its simplicity and don’t want all the other fancy crap and ads.

The company that made these widgets, Konfabulator, was recently bought by Yahoo. Now, they have a windows version for the widget program and it is free.

Pretty soon, it will look like “My Yahoo” portal. Still doesn’t have all the content of Yahoo, but editing is done by supercool javascript. Looks good. Eagerly awaiting GoogleOS for PCs, which is not too far away in the future, I suppose.
